I think he gave up on trying to keep a clean name and decided to run with this reality-tv-crazed world as far as he could. Kind of love to hate him, or vice-versa.
I guess you are right, but still, even though he is just coming out with gobbeldy-gook, there is still a sort of strange poetry going on that most people seem to be missing (or maybe I am just looking too much into it). I still find some of what he says to be insightful but rediculous at the same time, it take a certain kind of rare crazy to be able to do that AND capture people's imagination, lol
