SOME SUPER BIG NEWS

hey my people, how are you all?

September already? nearly October? shit and fuck, what the hell happenned? well I've been up to a few things, that is for sure. I think I will tell you about them.

Above is a pin-up for my good mate John "monkeyfeather" Hoffman's new book: Nun with 2 guns. He asked me to contribute, and it was an honour to do so, he will be premiering this new book this October 1st at the Alternative Press Expo (APE) so be sure to check it out.

Which leads me to my next big bit of news, I will be attending the Alternative Press Expo in San Francisco, US of A! it's gonna be great, I have my ticket and I am all ready to go, I'll be getting in on friday night! I'll be sharing a table with my good Blog buddy and general all round nice guy Phil Rynda (aka Uncle Phil), We will be at table 724, right next to the talented Andy Ristano! I will be selling these prints....

And also some copies of Bikini Cowboy! come by and get some!

If you come by with an old copy you bought of lulu, for just ten bucks you can trade it in for this excellent new and enhanced edition, first twenty copies also get a little extra something from me ;) hehe

Which leads me to my next big piece of news, I have decided to publish a limited run of Bikini cowboy! yay! I only printed about 100, but they look super sweet as.

Which Leads me to my last piece of excellent news, Bikini cowboy will be available in the iBookstore for the ipad, iphone, and sony tablet! Woo!

I figured, "it's the twenty first century, and people are reading on these newfangled devices, I figger I'd better gets on that bandwagon!" and so I did! It should be coming out in the ibookstore end of October at the latest, with the sony tablet following close behind, I will keep you guys posted.

Whew, man. All that news in one hit! I hope you guys are coping okay

Hi there! I met you at APE, and I just wanted to thank you for the chat and wonderful book! BKCB has jumped to the top of my list of favorite comics and I'll be looking out for more of your stuff! Do you have any other sites as well as this blog that I can follow your art on?
Anyway, I hope this isn't too out of the blue, but yeah! Really do love your work!

hey otvali! thanks! You don't know how happy that makes me to hear the BKCB is up there on your list of books :D (I feel all warm and fuzzy now, lol). As for other websites, I don't really have anything right now, maintaining this blog is work enough, but maybe I should try setting up a twitter or a tumblr or something, hmmmm.

I've never used this whole blog thing before, but yeah you should get your work on to more sites! That whole networking thing or whatever..!
My name's Rosalie, by the way! I don't know if you remember me but you gave me that super awesome student discount ;) I can think of no better way to have spent my money though! Worth the full 30 dollars and then some! I'm making everyone I know read BKCB, and I want more too it's so gooood!

Hey also met you at APE, I have to say I loved the novel, it was great =]. I totally feel like a punk for not paying the full price though. Like Rosalie said, its totally worth the $32. Also you should sell your arts / novels somewhere online. Actually I'll totally host your site for free if you want, that way I could pay you back for the discount =]. Seriously find a domain name you like and is available, you can use this to search for one: http://dreamhost.com/domains/
and I'll set it up for ya !
